Banks

Additional Information

The chart above depicts the percent of contributions in U.S. Dollars donated to Republican and Democrat candidates/parties/affiliated groups, seeking national office during the 2020 election cycle, donated by employees, or owners, of the companies listed, and those individuals' immediate family members, based on data collected from www.opensecrets.org.

In some instances the money was possibly donated by the actual company, but the bulk of it typically comes from individuals within the company, or immediate family members of individuals within the company.  The only way I'm discussing the actual organization is if I reference it as "the organization itself", otherwise, I'm talking about the jargon mentioned above (individuals within the company, owners, employees, direct family, etc.).  In some instances, the money considered contributed may come from PACs affiliated with the mentioned organization.

Roughly 60% of $37,661,542 contributed by those associated with banks (described above, for more info go see for yourself on the mentioned website) listed, went to fund Democrats.  A grand total of $22,443,749 was spent by the 12 banks (banks, employees, and/or direct family) to help Democrats drive up inflation by having success in the 2020 Presidential and Congressional elections.

Democrats on the Left, Republicans on the Right!

See the next chart, but if you don't and you just have to go with one of the big banks, I recommend Truist or PNC, if available, otherwise keep scrolling for a quick recommendation and demonstration.

Small Banks are the way to go!

Additional Information

Using Banks in the City of San Antonio, I took a dive into the donations from 2020... again as a disclaimer:

The chart above depicts the percent of contributions in U.S. Dollars donated to Republican and Democrat candidates/parties/affiliated groups, seeking national office during the 2020 election cycle, donated by employees, or owners, of the companies listed, and those individuals' immediate family members, based on data collected from www.opensecrets.org.

IBC                  $5,477    $81,620

Frost                $38,577   $62,132

Broadway         $1,086     $5,785

Security Service $4,914     $11,500

Totals               $50,054  $161,037

In some instances the money was possibly donated by the actual company, but the bulk of it typically comes from individuals within the company, or immediate family members of individuals within the company.  The only way I'm discussing the actual organization is if I reference it as "the organization itself", otherwise, I'm talking about the jargon mentioned above (individuals within the company, owners, employees, direct family, etc.).

Roughly 76% of $211,091 contributed by those associated with the smaller banks (described above, for more info go see for yourself on the mentioned website) listed, went to fund Republicans.  A grand total of $161,037 was spent by the 4 banks (banks, employees, and/or direct family) to help Republicans keep inflation down, employment up, and maintain a healthy booming economy, in the 2020 federal elections.

Trumpanies Choice!

Go with a small bank!  They may not give you what you want, but they'll make sure you don't end up borrowing more than you need or more than you can ever afford to pay back.
